It’s A Hard Time For Men
It’s a Hard Time for Men was Landon’s 3rd short comedic film. It won Best Comedy Short at over a dozen comedy festivals. The short featured Rob Traveler from the hit Netflix series Ozark. The film was written and directed by Landon. It was shot with period wardrobe in Griffith Park for less than $50. It was almost shut down by the cops. Twice. Landon told the cops, “this is our very last shot and we’ll be done in 30 seconds.” The cops said cool and left. Three hours later they came back when Landon was actually filming the last shot. They let him finish but weren’t cool about it.
Human Resources
After winning the Diversity Showcase representing filmmakers on the Autism Spectrum, Landon’s show called HR was greenlit by FunnyorDie for $2,500. At that time it felt like a King’s ransom The show is a wild ride the surrounds two wildly innaporptiate HR employees in their daily lives. The show went no where, but it won a bunch of festivals for “Best Web Pilot” which isn’t nothing. It’s almost nothing, but not.
Dicky Sledgehammer
Dicky Sledgehammer is Landon’s first short film. He wrote it from the mind of an Autistic private investigator who lives in a world wholly removed from reality. The film was accepted into and won several very high profile film festivals. Dicky was never ment to be anything other than a short film but Landon was approached about making it into a series. He politely declined.
